Nemesis: The Wizardry Adventure is not connected to previous games in the Wizardry line other than by name, genre, and publisher. This fantasy role-playing title has no ties to the story or characters from the Wizardry series, but instead offers an original storyline filled with quests, magic, and monsters. Acting as a solo hero, you must rid the world of the insidious evil known as the "Nithos Shadow," a long dormant but reawakened magic of an ancient civilization. Long ago Nithera mages created seven magic talismans, lost control, and paid the ultimate price of extinction -- but not before they were able to scatter the artifacts throughout the land. Your task is to find the seven talismans and prevent their reunification. Game elements include a basic magic system with offensive and defensive spells, real-time combat, puzzle solving, and inventory management (clothes, weapons, items, and so forth). Locations are varied and range from sewers and castles to crypts and caves.
