However I was able to bend them back and re sprayed them to cover the damaged paint. The part fit ok but the main frame on the right side sits uncomfortably close to the fender. Hopefully it will not move around too much and end up damaging the fender. It also comes without a long bolt that is needed to attach to the bike.
