At a recent train show, I had a discussion with a man who had a degree in electrical engineering about this item. He recommended a better piece that was more resistant to burning out. That was what convinced me to upgrade to this piece. We shall see the proof soon enough. I would have liked some instruction in how to wire up this item. I have seen many diagrams how it is done. I feel comfortable doing it correctly.
