The rubberized backplate feels amazing. Do note that the kickstand and the cartridge slot may need some adjustment to work smoothly, since the fit isn't one-to-one with the original plastic. Overall, for a $30 conversion kit from a no-name seller, I am more than happy with this purchase, and my Switch looks absolutely incredible now.
