Product Information
This QTX Pre-Amp Processor is designed to amplify the signal from a turntable and make it suitable for an AUX input. It requires a 9V power supply and comes with a mains power adapter to provide it. An on/off switch has been fitted for ease of use. Featuring RIAA correction, the frequency responses range from 30Hz to 20kHz, and the gain is 34dB. It measures 30 x 70 x 90 mm and weighs 250g.

I have an old Sony PS-LX45P Turntable that I got going again following Youtube and how to power up again. I had no problem at all with the said humming that you might encounter. Just make sure that you earth the Turntable to the outer metal casing on the Pre-Amp (Just loosen the screw). I extended the earth wire from the small 3 core power lead. I used a small length of speaker wire with a fork connector crimped to the end. I am pleased with the Pre Amp £15 Job Done
