    I'm restoring a 1982 touring bike, and after 42 years the old brake pads were dried out and didn't offer much stopping grip. The Kool-stop pads made an instant improvement in breaking. This is a quick and cheap job that will help keep the old bikes on the roads for years to come. Also, quality rim brake pads are becoming a rare item, and we should support companies that still do this well.
