This is the 1981 NASA First Mission United States Postal Service Commemorative 18 cent Mug. In Displayed Only condition. Nice, clean and shiny! Graphics are Bright & Crisp! No chips, cracks or crazing. It depicts "Colombia" in space orbiting Earth on one side and other side the Two Fuel Rockets being released. It is Marked United States Postal Service 1981, photo #5 and has "Benefiting Mankind" on the "18 cent stamp", photo #1 & 6.It is a magnificent collectors tribute to the Space Shuttle Program. The Space Shuttle was an incredible and historical program by the United States Government. It was a manned launch vehicle program, administered by NASA and first flown in 1981. ~ Please see all photos for details as they are part of the description, use Zoom and ask questions before bidding.”
