It’s a patchwork of fabric squares stitched to a single layer of cotton or possibly viscose base. However, it is very pretty and was delivered promptly. If it was actually a silk quilt, with the price of delivery included, I would wonder how they sold it so cheaply. As it is, I think it’s reasonable value and a very nice item
