I have had two other battery flossers and am annoyed at having to throw them out when the internal batteries no longer hold their charge. This unit is larger (of course) to house the electrics, but works every time. My only issue is that the nozzle is not as fine as I'm used too, and it takes a bit more 'work' to remove stubborn stuff stuck between teeth. However, there is a pressure control on the unit which is quite handy.
