    its rough inside, action is not smooth even after oil. The screw hole in the back that hold the lock in place is not the same thread as an original so do not expect to use your on old screw. i ended up using mine but literally cut the threads with it. It works ok, give it a 6 out of 10.

    This was advertised to fit a 1955 Chevy. This item is MUCH shorter than the original. It will not work without significant modifications. Shipping costs are too expensive to return the item so now I am out $30.90 and still do not have a lock for my BelAir. Very disappointed with this result.

    You received the correct part you just have to adjust the glove box latch for it to work correctly. They only make one size.
