Upon returning, I told the seller of our problems with the unit. They offered us another brand new unit designed for RVs. I looked this unit up online and found out it came out several years and wasn't supported by Rand McNally anymore. I explained this to the seller and requested a refund. Absolutely no problems returning the GPS unit with free shipping.
