After several attempts at filing, and sanding, and trimming, I finally had to cut it down to size with a saw. But with patience and determination, I think it will be a perfect fit for the rear bow on my convertible.

Originally layers of paper that don't hold staples as well as plastic. I had to use table saw and narrow by 0.200", plus cut the 4' piece into (2) 23" pieces and then clamp on curved steel - use heat gun and curve....but when done = PERFECT !
