Seller Notes: “A Rare and very collectable Antique .925 Silver Half Crown of Edward VII. Second lowest mintage for ... “A Rare and very collectable Antique .925 Silver Half Crown of Edward VII. Second lowest mintage for these with ONLY 274,840 produced for use in circulation that year. This one has been collected from circulation by some eagle eyed coin hound who must of spotted the date, and as such is in a fairly well used condition. Overall it still retains much of it's original detail, including perfectly legible date, legends, and nice separation at the top of the kings ear. This coin has a grey toned patina, which is quite bright in the hand, the patina is un-broken with NO fresh bright metal showing, however it has picked up 2 or 3 notable rim/edge knocks. From an old timer's collection, would make a nice filler for any collection! Please see photos and description.”
