Synopsis
Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett's hunt for a fugitive reveals a conspiracy in this taut thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling series. Joe Pickett always liked Butch Roberson--a hardworking local business-owner whose daughter is friends with his own. Little does he know that when Butch says he is heading into the mountains to scout elk, he is actually going on the run. Two EPA employees have been murdered, and all signs point to Butch as the killer. Soon, Joe hears of the land Butch and his wife had bought to retire on--until they are told the EPA declared it a wetland--and the penalties they charged Butch until the family was torn apart by debt. Finally, it seems, the man just cracked. It's an awful story. But is it the whole story? The more Joe investigates, the more he begins to wonder--and the more he finds himself in the middle of a war in which he must choose sides., Don't miss the JOE PICKETT series--now streaming on Paramount+ Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett's hunt for a fugitive reveals a conspiracy in this taut thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling series. - s***l (19)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseGreat seller, good value. The book arrived ina timely manner although I didn't understand why usps shipping routed the order out of state and then back when I live in the same city. I guess that's how the routes are set up. Anyhow. Good packaging although some bubble would be appreciated, it came in good condition, as described and definitely a valuable purchase. Thank you & God Bless 🙌

- c***r (565)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseMost importantly, the book condition was as specified. Many thanks for that. Also, the book was delivered promptly from the US to the UK. Also, the price was reasonable for an out-of-print book. However, one point of constructive criticism: the packaging could have been much better, in order to better protect the book in transit. The book was sent in a bubble-wrap mailer only. It would have benefited greatly from cardboard packaging. Thank you very much for any consideration of my feedback.Power: A Scientific Approach (#187431076956)
