Synopsis
Nothing much ever happens in the sleepy English town of Warchester. So when a farmer is found savagely killed in some sort of animal attack, it's a big story for local reporter David Pascal. The rich and eccentric Sir Darren Penward tells the police an escaped Siberian tiger from his private zoo is to blame, but Pascal isn't so sure. Especially when one witness describes something impossible: an enormous and deadly creature that has been extinct for sixty million years. What exactly is Penward hiding behind the walls of his massive estate? And can Pascal uncover the truth before Penward's creatures escape to wreak murder and havoc on the unsuspecting populace? First published in 1984, six years before Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park, which shares many of the same plot elements, Carnosaur has become a cult classic among fans of vintage horror, with copies long unobtainable except at exorbitant prices. This edition features a new introduction by Will Errickson.

- b***a (134)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseItems are great and as described. Books came wrapped in a whole bunch of plastic wrap and in a shipping bag, which was a little annoying versus using a box, but it all came with no damage, so I can't really complain. I'd definitly shop here again.Lot of 3 Jim Butcher Trade Paperbacks - Dresden Files - Turn Coat, Dead Beat... (#187193225418)
- a***g (577)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe book arrived less than a week after placing the order. A fantastic price for a 1st edition, 1st printing! The book was very securely packed, with a double or triple layer of plastic wrap around a double layer of bubble wrap. The listed condition was "Good," but I'm pretty sure it should have been graded higher. Both the cover and the dust jacket look great; not even any minor damage. I'll gladly come back in the future when looking for books! A+++
