World renowned NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon lends his name to futuristic car racing in Jeff Gordon XS Racing. Select from one of three modes and race using one of five different cars on any of seven unique tracks.<br><br>Before you head out on the track, you can get some advice from Gordon as well as a description of the racecourse. If you want to practice first, select Time-Attack Mode and go solo against the clock.<br><br>Once you're ready to race against other cars, you can go for Championship Mode, in which you go through two seasons. The first season pits you against four other cars in a seven-race circuit; if you finish in first place overall, you get access to the second season. That one throws six other cars at you as well as Gordon himself and his super fast Team XS car. Finish in first place overall again and you qualify for the Ultimate Challenge.<br><br>The Ultimate Challenge is a showdown between you and Gordon on any track you choose, mano-a-mano (or mana-a-mano, as the case may be). Winner takes all and the loser drowns their sorrows in a Pepsi.<br><br>The cars available include Team Pepsi, Team Champion, Team Fritos, Team Werewolf, and Team Hardcore. The tracks range from the traditional loop of Futuristic City to the curvy The International. Most of them include jumps.<br><br>Two players can go head-to-head using a link cable.
