Codeine Velvet Club is the self titled debut album from Fratellis' Jon Lawler's side project. Taking inspiration from sixties orchestral pop, particularly composer John Barry, the album is a mix of upbeat and sometimes jazzy rock similar in vein to Alex Turner's the Last Shadow Puppets.
