Dino Crisis 2 for Sony PlayStation 1 continues the saga of government secrecy, mad scientists, and a hidden world in a prehistoric time. Again, Third Energy disappears through a rift in time, while Dr Kirk’s work is secretly continued. As Dino Crisis 2 begins, Regina and the team once more find themselves traveling back through a time hole to locate the project and bring it back. But, as before, the dinosaurs are in full swing and out for blood. This time Regina’s team is armed with two usable weapons and all third-person shooters have the ability to spin 180-degrees, while firing at the same time. They battle hoards of raptors and other lovely man-eating dino creatures; just when it seems the heroes can’t take any more, the T-Rex will make his entrance. As the game progresses, players will find hidden Dino Files to gain unlimited ammunition, and important information that heals wounds and raises scores. If all goes well, the team will then be thrown into an extra crisis that includes a deadly Dino Colosseum. Still, with excellent third-person shooters and unlimited ammunition, Regina might just make it back through the time rift to bring help and save her team. Dino Crisis 2 is a game of great graphics, lots of action and fast frame rates. As players move through the game, the action becomes incredible while the plot becomes even more intricate. Of course, the question is: does Regina make it back? Only the last player standing will know.
