For future buyers, depending in which country you live, you will probably have to pay VAT as well as Custom Fees (And sometimes Custom Taxes) when the carrier will deliver your parcel. In my case, I had already paid to Ebay the VAT at checkout, so I overpaid the VAT: Once to Ebay, and once to the carrier. In which case, you can ask Ebay to refund you the VAT you paid them by giving proof you paid a second time VAT.
