      The item came without a box (as detailed in the listing) but it was only wrapped in a postage bag with no bubble wrap or protection. The bag was taped all around with thick tape so the only way to open it was to cut it open with scissors. Even when I did so carefully I still managed to cut through one of the laces :-( I had a old pair at home so replaced it, but I think some more thought/care needs to go into the packaging. That said the trainers were good quality and I'm very happy with them
