I took to jeweler to have battery placed. He told me there was a battery in the watch, however it was so old it was corroded. He said he wished Ebay sellers would take batteries out of watches that were old, even if not pre-used, because the corrosion could have damaged the watch. Thankfully all is well and watch runs good.
