The hat was not worn. It was washed numerous times in the dishwasher with a hat form so it would fade. My husband was a child of the ’60s. He liked faded jeans, tie-dyed shirts, things that looked vintage. He would not wear things that looked new - except for ties, dress shirts, suits, and dress shoes.
