In particular, some similar products are not outdated or not compatible with MacOS. This worked out of the box. However, as I found the lowest price using Capital One Shopping, I did not take note of the version. This is the LITE version, which does not have an HDMI input, and does not upscale to 1080p. So... I'm also ordering the regular version for a few dollars more as the HDMI input will be helpful on occasion.
