Damage would have been obvious before the item was sent! Seller blamed me for stripping the thread. Aggressive communication. Only option was to return at my cost, shipping from Australia to the US is too expensive and time consuming to return! Have had item repaired, cheaper than mucking about with this seller. My hands are tied being so far away, sellers like this exploit this issue.
