These either need a different stem placement or an angled or flush mount valve stem to work properly. There is no notching needed to run these we have multiple racers that have run these during the baja 1000 over 1300 miles straight with no issues or flats. You will have to notch the mudplugs on 4+1 wheels as the hub nut sticks out to far no way around that.
