It will replace an old DDS181 which finally failed after 15-18 years. Hard to believe, but those old 18 volt, 2ah batteries still hold a charge longer than I'd expect. Also, shipping was quick. Ordered on June 30, received on July 3. Several days faster than quoted.

The old one lasted many years. All my tools are Bosch 18 volt. They are great tools to own. I only wish they made a multiple battery charger.
