If they had been I would have known to expect that storage may have been compromised at some point and that the adhesive used in bonding the sandal to the platform may have deteriorated. The cost doesn't reflect this issue. I had to have them cobbled at unexpected additional cost. Hopefully in the future this seller will update shoe descriptions to note this and respond to messages addressing such issues.
