Pull old shifter and cable, drop derailleur to "8th" gear, thread new cable, pull fingertip snug only (assuming your overtravel stops are dialed in), trim cable and tighten everything up. 10 minute job for a fool like me. Seller was fast and accurate!

It was not their fault, but offered a refund since they didn’t have any additional stock if it hadn’t arrived. Fortunately, USPS just decided to take it on a vacation for an extra couple days. It was packed well, a reasonable price, and brand new as described. Will gladly do business with again.
