They aren't long enough to reach the mufflers. Maybe they would reach a stock muffler. I have typical Flowmasters, and there's about a 2.5" gap between the tailpipe and muffler outlet. Now I'll have to get creative and weld in a sleeve between the two. A band clamp may be long enough to reach both ends and seal, I'm not sure. It would have been better to have too much pipe rather than too little.

Bought a cheap welder from HF to secure them. Possibly cutting a couple 2" slits in the pipe might help the clamp.
