Don't rust with the coating on the blade, and keeps a solid edge and I cut alot of bait. Excellent value. And I have never felt hot spots on the handle. The sheath is perfect. Ive heard others complain about that but maybe if it's the coated steel you have better luck with retention then the straight up stainless. Won't use anything else if these are available.

I recently purchased a well known brand Fillet Knife at a much higher price. The feel of the DANCO beats it hands down!!!! I am going to purchase a DANCO Fillet knife now that I see the quality.
