Wood is lightweight and soft and scratched the first time I wore the pistol. I waxed to buffer the scratch and darken the grips. They didn’t fit exactly as first because gun grip pin was larger than hole in grip. But I was able to just push the wood grips on the pins. I waxed and buffed the grips to compliment the leather holdter.
