    Joseph, The retip eliminated the inner groove distortion I was hearing! I needed to realign the stylus after setting the tracking force, but that was about it. I left the headshell rotated the way I had it, and the stylus tip was pointing straight down. Looks like I will be redoing some of the record listening, but likely the more recent.

    Amazing positive experience having my original D3000 stylus re-tipped for my vintage Pickering XSV-3000 cartridge. Having bought the cart in the early 1980's I had no idea what to expect. Joseph kept me informed on progress the entire time and sent pictures from microscope and oscilloscope documenting the process. Great to work with, so knowledgeable. Plus my setup now sounds superb!
