Product Information

The Alpine SPX-F17T is a three-way automotive speaker system that features a tweeter, midrange, and woofer so it is the only speaker a consumer would need to complete a car stereo system. The T-drive style woofer in this Alpine car speaker measures 6.5 inches in diameter while the midrange is 5.25 inches. The soft dome tweeter is 1.1 inches and it is all in an aluminum frame. In this three-way automotive speaker, the wood fiber woofer includes a 32-oz strontium neodymium magnet and the system is padded with a LRMS styrene surround material to dampen out unwanted vibrations. The Alpine SPX-F17T uses 75 watts of RMS power handling and 300 watts of peak handling. The Alpine car speaker produces 4 Ohms of impedance from a 1-inch voice coils in both the tweeter and the woofer, a frequency response of 30 Hz to 35 kHz so that no part of the music is ever lost, and a sensitivity of 90.5 dB. In terms of construction, this Alpine car speaker bi- or tri-wire input and selectable tweeter attenuation and a fixed angle tweeter mounting that is also flush to the surface. The speakers come with adapter plates and a phase integrated dustcap design.
