The larger rubber cup hinders the fold open LCD screen and the "viewfinder" area is smaller and "hides" the lower graphics display. I have one for the Canon T7 and it was perfect so expected a similar experience. Understandable when it's meant to fit a bunch of brand models overall. I'll keep it and maybe land another Nikon it would fit better on.
