With a little elbow grease and some investigating I removed the one bolt that holds the entire shifter. It's on the bottom of the shift under the boot. Turned new boot inside out and pulled onto shift. At the top I installed new Rubber O-Ring and then folded boot back over. Made sure boot threads were in the right direction 2 towards rear 1 in front and then carefully pushed leather boot bottom back into console frame. Folding neatly where needed. Looks beautiful.. Better than new original.
