they work ok. the base doesn't match the threads on my can so have to use the old one. design of the spout makes it messy to use as gas spills out till you get the spout down into what you pour gas into. but it saved trashing a perfectly good can with a vent.

Aloha, we didn't receive any message about the collar, so we don't know the make and model number of your can, however, "using the original collar that came with your can is always best". You should bend the spout and insert it, prior to pouring, they are flexible.
