This fabric passes all aspects of the burn and strength tests that one may use to verify linen. The flame when burning resembles pure cotton not luminous or smokey. When snuffed, the odor resembles cotton or burlap not plastic. Soft cinder. Is strong enough you cannot rip it without damaging your skin. The weave is slightly uneven as it is not possible to get perfect yarn from flax.
