Synopsis
Funny, irreverent and sometimes sad, here is the story of the early life of one of the world's best-loved authors. From the evocation of an enchanted boyhood spent in Wales and Norway to his unhappy experiences at an English public school, these sparkling memoirs are filled with wit, high spirits and more than a touch of the macabre. "A shimmering fabric of his yesterdays, the magic and the hurt" --Observer. "Brilliantly coloured, sometimes grotesque and sometimes magical" --Sunday Times. "As frightening and funny as his fiction" --The New York Times Book Review. "Superbly written ... a glimpse of a brilliant eccentric" --New Statesman.

Item was as described. Seller could have packaged it better for the shipping. It was in a paper envelope which had ripped. Fortunately, the shirt did not get damaged. But I would recommend putting it at least than a plastic bag then inserting it in the paper envelope if you’re going to use a paper envelope.

Purchased from seller two weeks ago. A week later item still had not shipped. I messaged seller to find out the status. Seller replied rudely days later saying they had away set up on their store. They didn’t, I wouldn’t have purchased if they did. Another week, order cancel request ignored. Message seller again and their reply was “bro eat a s s.” I know it’s difficult for sellers when those annoying buyers expect the thing they bought to actually ship. Idk what I was thinking.
