The Sigma Macro 28 mm lens is a prime wide-angle lens which incorporates two aspherical glass elements for minimizing distortion and aberration enabling color smoothness and correction. This Sigma f/1.8 lens features a unique floating focus system which optimizes the lens for different shooting distances to provide sharp, quality images. The Sigma Macro 28 mm lens accomplishes macro photography at a minimum shooting focusing distance of 7.9 inches. This Pentax wide-angle lens has a specific angle of view of 75.4 degrees with capacity to reach a magnification ratio of 1:2.9 for close-up photography. The Sigma f/1.8 lens is suitable for creating wildlife, nature and portrait photos with surrounding background. This Sigma Macro 28 mm lens delivers fast, quiet operation with a maximum aperture of f/1.8 and a minimum aperture of f/22. The Pentax wide-angle lens is strong and durable while maintaining portability with dimensions of 3.3x3.1 inches, and weighs 16.9 oz.
