Inara has been steadily working in the LA music scene, playing in bands and lending her ovice to numerous musical projects and film scores. For her debut ALL RISE she teamed with producer/guitarist/composer Michael Andrews, known both as the score composer of "Donnie Dark" and as Elgin Park, the clutch boogaloo/funk guitarist in the Greyboy Allstars. Some of Inara's songs are like little poetic Plarods, fleeting glimpses into one woman's examination of the world around her, while others are more like impressionists paintings as though she's just noticed a view and decided to paint it. The production is spare yet lush and the sound gracefully blends the nostalgic and the contemporary, the organic and synthesized, into an immensely palatable soundscape all it's own.
