The DVR calls for a 12VDC 5A input which this one supplied. Fixed issues I had with the old power supply that was seemingly degraded to the point that my DVR was an abnormally long time to boot up and unable to power on the hard drive. This one lets it boot up in less than a minute, and provides sufficient power to power on the hard drive.
