      The seller had the item delivered in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, the item was not fully functioinal, so I decided to send it back. Before sending it back I messaged her and asked if we could negotiate a partial refund, and for me to keep the item.       An excellent transaction, purchase price was more than fair. USPS beat the shipping box a bit, but the inner packaging was more than enough to absorb the abuse. Unpacked the instrument, inspected, installed batteries, attached a Geiger-muller probe and turned it on. Geiger counter responded like it was still 1965 (the year it was made). Makes a nice addition to my instrument collection.
