The LEGO Pirates Imperial Soldiers' Fort has everything you need and more to create an incredible tale of swashbuckling pirates, including a prison building, a fort, and a crane tower. There are six minifigures inside, including Brickbeard, who has one hooked hand. One of his pirate cohorts, the Governor, and three soldiers are also included with this set, and you can arm them with extra swords. The included epaulets add an extra air of authority to the figures. The LEGO Pirates Soldiers' Fort also comes complete with a crocodile, a fish, and a monkey with his own banana. The prison building was created with plenty of attention to detail, including tally charts that the prisoners have scratched into the walls to keep track of the days they spent in jail as well as spooky spider webs. Release the pirates from their prison, and help them steal the gold, but don't let them get eaten by the hungry alligators. You can also play the good side and throw the pirates into the stronghold of the government, rescue the booty, and make sure they never escape again. The back of the prison wall is removable, and the right-angled wall piece has a lean-to with a ransom poster for Captain Brickbeard on it. If you happen to have another one of these LEGO sets, you can make a larger fort with the hidden bricks with holes in them that can connect the bottom pieces of the fort together. The possibilities are endless with what you can create in this exciting world of pirates and soldiers. This LEGO fort can even be split into three separate sections, so you'll be able to arrange them exactly how you want them to be.In true pirate fashion, the crane tower has a winch to lift the treasure chest and a rum barrel with a tap. A cannon, a palm tree, a treasure chest, a pirate ransom poster, and a rowboat are all included in the set. This LEGO set is very durable. It has pleasing colors to the eye and a whopping total of 367 pieces. One fully constructed, this treasure trove of fun weighs 2 pounds. The LEGO instructions are also as clear and as easy-to-follow as usual for frustration-free setup and play with this armored fortress of fun. Of course, you could always go full pirate and use the various minifigures and bricks to create your own customized scene.LEGO has really outdone themselves with this incredible pirates and soldiers set. You can have tons of fun firing the pull-action cannon or playing inside the incredible stockade. The realistic cannon includes a ramrod, and the palm tree on the bridge can be removed to feature a secret compartment where the valuable pirate bounty can be stored.
