The poor quality calipers have sloppy machining marks and fit/finish is gritty. Depth gauge has wrong end and channel doesn’t have a machined radius like in genuine pair. Set screw is also uncaptured, case is cheaper injection molding and not stamped Made In Japan. Even the box has the wrong colors when held next to a real mitutoyo box and serial number is stamped onto faked paperwork with different ink and font.
