It is in good condition & does work. The batteries were run down some since the item was older & I think the spray was probably not as strong-(an enclosed coupon for more refills expired in 2006). but did not expect to be brand new procuct so I am glad to have to use my existing refill cans. As item title states, this was a "new" item in an unopened package from 2005 (20 years old). Thus, it would be normal for liquid parts of the product to degrade or reduce in volume.
