I previously ordered from AmazonDE, but the order was cancelled. Mercatos offered new goods at a slightly higher price. The machine arrived in perfect condition. The factory box was cushioned and packaged in double cardboard and padding. Inside, the machine was perfect. Customs fees were about $50. I was slightly apprehensive ordering such an expensive machine for import, but Mercatos is legit and delivered. A+++++

The tube preamp performs as you would expect as it warms up the tone a bit. When listening to classical performances like "Time" by Hans Zimmer there is still a ton of detail and resolution while still retaining a warm full sound stage. I am thus far very happy with this integrated amplifier. The VU meters look cool and have gotten a few positive complements.
