The hole where the saddle tightening bolt sits in has slight manufacturing defect. Light tightening is ok but I can see it might cause a crack at this spot if I was to tighten to the typical 5Nm torque tightness. Basic level of quality is as to be expected at this price point. Other than the issue described the item is a good item. Can still ride ok with no safety problems. Item is unlikely to fail suddenly to catastrophic effect.
