When they did they are not cotton as they looked in the photos, but some sort of man made fabric. I bought these for use in the gym under my shorts. Very soft and quite comfortable and supporting, but I don't think the waist elastic will last especially long after a few washes. Let's hope I'm proven wrong. Overall quite disappointed with the product and the quality, especially for the price.
