Synopsis
Colonel Bob Piper served as a platoon leader in "G" Company, 505th PIR. He was Rgtl. Adjutant (S-1) and then Rgtl. Intelligence Officer (S-2) and made all four of the combat jumps effected by the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII. He was wounded only once, in Sicily. His story is retold here through many photographs, and some of his own memorabilia, including original uniforms, badges and emblems. This is the second book in this new series depicting the lives of the men of the airborne forces in World War ll.
