It was just thrown into a box with a piece of bubble wrap. It should have been cacooned in the bubble wrap for better protection.

The leather pouch was is in poor condition. The camera has several cosmetic defects. That is not MINT. To top it off, the camera does not take pictures well at all. A whole 8 shots were loaded not one came out decent. Not one. Horrible. Not a good value at all.
